Principal Investigator
Dr Rohit Bhatia is the Principal Investigator and Study Coordinator of IMSRN. He is a Professor of Neurology at the Neurosciences Centre. AIIMS. New Delhi and is the co-incharge of the comprehensive MS and neuroimmunology clinics at his institute. His current research looks at various biomarkers in MS, Cognitive changes in patients with MS, yoga intervention for fatigue in MS and efficacy of plasmapheresis and Rituximab in CNS demyelinating disorders. He is the co-editor of two textbooks: Clinical Practice of Multiple Sclerosis and Emergencies in Neurology and has many publications to his credit.

Dr M.V. Padma Srivastava is Professor and Head of Neurology and Chief Neurosciences Centre. AIIMS. New Delhi. She is the co-incharge of the comprehensive MS clinic. Her areas of interest include multiple sclerosis and cerebrovascular disease. She is the co-editor of the textbook Clinical Practice of Multiple Sclerosis. She has many publications and academic awards to her credit.
Co-Investigators AIIMS New Delhi
Dr. Ajay Garg is a Professor of Neuroradiology at AIIMS, Delhi. His special interest includes inflammatory diseases of CNS, Neuroimmunology and imaging of the brain tumors.
Prof. Rohit Saxena is a Professor of ophthalmology at the R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed his graduation from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 1996 and joined Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (AIIMS) as a postgraduate student. He joined the faculty as Assistant Professor at the centre in 2003. He has completed his PhD in Ophthalmology in 2016. His main interests are Neuro-Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology. He is a Principal Investigator of numerous funded and non-funded research projects, published more than 215 indexed publications, authored 3 books and written more than 50 chapters in national and international books. He has many academic awards to his cv.
Dr. Partha Haldar is working as Associate Professor of Community Medicine in AIIMS, New Delhi. He is a MD in Community Medicine from AIIMS New Delhi, and is a Business Analytics graduate from IIM Bangalore. His areas of interest are in neuroepidemiology, big data analytics, programmatic data analysis, monitoring of National Health Programmes, Disease Surveillance, Drug Resistance Surveillance for HIV, and Programme Evaluation. His research areas are in psychometric scale development and implementation research. He is member of Technical Working Groups of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for Hepatitis Surveillance, for National Programme for Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH); he is an advisor for Data centre and Analytics Lab at IIM-Bangalore. He had been an Epidemiologist with the World Health Organization, and worked with national health programmes. He has over 60 publications in international and national peer reviewed journals, as well as contributed to national and international guidelines, and training modules. He has been Chief-Guide to five MD students, and co-guides for more than 20 MD/PhD students.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Singh has completed his DM Neurology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow in 2016 and is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi. He has a special interest in the field of Neuroimmunology including Multiple Sclerosis and is currently having projects on autoimmune encephalitis and MOG associated Neurological disorders.
Dr Arunmozhimaran Elavarasi has completed her DM in Neurology and currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology at AIIMS, New Delhi. She has received several awards during her medical career including the American Academy of neurology, International Scholarship Award. She has more than 50 publications in national and international journals and has a special interest in Neuroimmunology and movement disorders.
Dr Divya MR is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Neurology, AIIMS New Delhi. She is a former Assistant Professor, Neurology at AIIMS Rishikesh. She has received many awards including AAN International Scholarship Award 2018, WCN Travelling fellowship 2019, MDS-AOS Synergies & Leadership course 2021 Junior Faculty Award and WFN Grant in Aid 2021. She has more than 30 publications in peer reviewed journals. Her special interests include movement disorders, neuroimmunology, ataxia and Wilson’s disease.

Dr. Khangembam Taibanganba Meitei, Ph.D., MSc., is an Anthropologist working in Public Health. He is currently employed as Scientist C (Non-Medical) with Prof. Rohit Bhatia, Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi. His research interests were medical & biological anthropology, biochemical & molecular genetics, mental health, and neurosciences.

Miss Pushparani Khwairakpam is a Web Developer with Masters in Computer Applications from B.M.S. College of Engineering. Her area of expertise includes programming and handling the wordpress websites. Currently, she is working as a Computer Programmer on a registry project on multiple sclerosis, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rohit Bhatia at the department of Neurology, AIIMS, Delhi.
Isha Gulati is a postgraduate in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University. She aspires to pursue research in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and her areas of interest include Neuroplasticity, Neurological Disorders and TBI. She is currently working as a Junior Research Fellow for the Multiple sclerosis registry project under the supervision of Prof Dr. Rohit Bhatia at the department of Neurology, AIIMS, Delhi.
Dr. Meena Kumari has done, MSc. MPhil and PhD from International Institute for population Sciences, Mumbai. She is a trained demographer & and having interest in mathematical modelling. Prior her PhD, Ms. Meena Kumari was working as a Research Officer at WHO Study on Global AGEing and adult health (WHO-SAGE), Mumbai. Her primary interest lies in the areas of Applied Demography, Estimating Life tables, Quantitative Data Analysis, Model Specification & Multilevel Modelling. She has extensive experience in working with Indian sample survey datasets- National Family Health Survey (NFHS), National Sample Survey (NSS), WHO Study on Global AGEing and adult health (SAGE) and Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI). Her doctoral work is on life table, Poverty Trap, and Health Treatment Gap in India. Currently She is working as a Scientist-B (Non-Medical) for the Multiple Sclerosis Registry Project under the supervision of Prof. Rohit Bhatia at the Department of Neurology, AIIMS, Delhi.
