Dr Samhita Panda is an Additional Professor and Head, Department of Neurology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur. She did MBBS and MD Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. She then did DM in Neurology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. She also did her Postdoctoral fellowship in Epilepsy from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram. After that she worked as faculty in the Department of Neurology at NIMHANS, Bengaluru and subsequently had stints at St. Stephen’s Hospital, Delhi and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi before joining the present institution in 2017. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals and contributed chapters to various books in Neurology. She has guided many students pursuing MD, DM, MSc and MPhil courses in their theses. She is currently involved in various projects including multicenter studies. Her of interest include epilepsy, stroke, sleep, neuroimmunology, movement disorders among others.
