Dr (Brig) Sankar Prasad Gorthi graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He joined Army Medical corps in 1984 and retired as Brigadier from Army Hospital R&R Delhi as Prof & HOD Department of Neurology in 2016. Post retirement (May 2016) he worked as Prof and HOD department of neurology at Kasturba Medical College Manipal till Dec 2019 and Since 01 Jan 2020 he is heading Neurology at Bharati Vidyapeeth Hospital Pune. He underwent Observer ship in Movement disorders at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery queen square London in 2004 and 2017. Major Achievements (Honors/Awards/ Publications): ML Soni award for best resident in Neurology AIIMS, Best Research paper award annual conference IAN 2001and in 2014 Awarded a life time achievement award- 8th International prestigious Sardar Patel Award for Excellence in Neurosciences Research.
