Dr. R.Lakshmi Narasimhan is the Director at Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College. He is the organizer of the SHINE conference for 10 years and has trained DM Neurology students across India. He has served as the executive committee of IAN (3 terms), NSI (1 term), and Indian Epilepsy society (1 term). He is the state nodal officer for stroke, Tamil Nadu. He has received the FAAN, FRCP (London, Glasgow), FIAN; Palatucci award, AB Baker award (AAN); Atlas Award (Elsevier), and several awards. He has over 150 publications in national and international journals. He was the CME convenor (IAN), Editor of Reviews in Neurology for six years, editor of SAE of Dejong’s The Neurologic Examination and Localization in Clinical Neurology. He is a member of the various Editorial Boards including, Cochrane.
