Dr. Tapas Kumar Banerjee is the Medical Director & Chief Consultant Neurologist at the National Neurosciences Centre Calcutta. His area of research includes Neuro-epidemiology of Stroke and of Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis. He has Sixty-seven major publications and 29 published abstracts in leading peer-reviewed international journals. He has Participated as Plenary Speaker/ Co-Chair in numerous International Conferences. He is a Member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer of several international journals. He has received “Mother Teresa Ratna” in January 2021 for rendering outstanding service to mankind, conferred by the Award Committee of All-India Minorities and Weaker Section Council.
